EPASA

Dear AEC Members,

Last year at the opening of AEC Congress in Antwerpen, we launched EPASA: The European Performing Arts Students’ Association.

As we are at the beginning of a new academic cycle we would be grateful if you could circulate the following call to your student representatives and/or any motivated and engaged students who wish to sign up as members.

What is EPASA?

The European Performing Arts Students’ Association (EPASA) is a membership organisation aimed at current performing arts students and recent graduates. Our main areas of activity include:

  • Providing lived experience to European organisations on life as emerging creative professionals
  • Advocating for the social impact of creative arts education
  • Improving creative arts education nationally and internationally
  • Working locally with individuals and institutions to improve student representation systems

You can read more about our beliefs, vision, and aims on the EPASA website.

We formed in late 2021 with the generous support of the European Association of Conservatoires (AEC).

What are the tiers of membership?

Whether you have an established student representation system or are a curious individual – everyone is welcome. We are an inclusive organisation and do not discriminate based on any protected characteristics.

How can I sign up?

You may sign up via the appropriate category at this website.

I have more questions!

If you have questions or suggestions we would love to hear from you: info@epasa.eu

We very much hope to see as many of you as possible in Lyon this November, and wish you the best of luck with the beginning of the academic year.

Thank you for attention. Yours truly,

Mimi Harmer – on behalf of EPASA
